We skipped the museum this time, but in a 2 hour visit to the park were able to see most of the animals. It looked like about 75% of the exhibits had some animals, although not all exhibits were full. The park may still be getting back on its feet post-covid restrictions. The water park is basically a large pool with different fountains and looked fun for kids, so wear your swim trunks if you want a place to play for an hour or so before eating lunch at the snack area and heading home or to the museum. I can imagine the park being less fun during huge crowds, but we never had to wait more than a few minutes for any ride and they were pretty fun for small 29 December 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The Museum Satwa is a place to view preserved animals and fossils from all over the world, including fish, insects, mammals, birds, reptiles, and many more. The only thing i did not like and thats why 1 star less, is that some animals are being used for extra money to take pictures with visitors. Its not the animal that likes to be on the photo, its the human! But other then that, its a great place to spend a few hours. We lost count of the many many animals inside definitely more animals at Batu than Sydney Zoo. Owen’s favourites were the panthers, jaguars, white lions, and elephants. Aurelia’s favourites were racoons, monkeys and hippos. The zoos has this mini farm - where you can pet and feed the animals. Free car-train rides; where you get to see different animals, feed them and do a quick selfie too I managed to get a selfie with Mr. Camel. The food inside was okay, it wasn’t great compare to the outside Malang culinary but it was of a decent standards. There were many free rides for the kiddies. Swipe left to see all the rides. There was also this amazing Seal show. Aurelia and Owen got a kiss from the Seals. They were over the moon. Don’t forget to bring pram if you are planning to go here and have children under the age of 3. Young children required nap during the day. Trust me, you do not want to walk around carrying your kiddies sleeping. The zoo is massive. Don’t forget to also bring hats, water bottles and snacks for the kiddies. We started at 10AM and were escorted out at 530PM because the kiddies didn’t want to go home and the zoo closes at 5PM. The entrance fee was only $10 per person for 3 theme parks. The best $10 expenses last month. Worth every cents and then some. Written 23 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
